Founded in 1992 under the name “Center of European Studies,” the Hannah Arendt Institute – Ethical and Political Spaces (EEP-IHA/EA 4118) of University of Paris-East Marne-la-Vallee specializes in Practical Philosophy and Political Science.  Throughout the year, the Institute organizes seminars and conferences based on contemporary issues and themes critical to the study of Philosophy and Political Science.
